Dr. Philip Camfield
Education: Dr Camfield graduated from Whittier College in 1970 with BA degrees in Biology and Chemistry. He received a DDS degree from UCLA in 1974. After graduation he became a public health dentist for Los Angeles County, then opened a general dental practice. Concurrently Dr. Camfield was a lecturer and clinical instructor at UCLA School of Dentistry for eleven years. He returned for advanced training in Endodontics at the Long Beach VA Hospital, completing his residency in 1990. He has practiced endodontics in Placerville and Citrus Heights since 1990.
Memberships: Dr Camfield is a life member of the American Association of Endodontists, the American Dental Association, and the California Dental Association. He is a founding member of Endoquest, an endodontic study group, and also a founding member and Fellow of the American College of Endodontics.
Outside the office he enjoys cooking, gardening, and skiing – on liquid or frozen water. Mostly he likes to spend time with family and friends.
