Dr. Jeremy Young

Dr. Young was born and raised in Sacramento, CA. After high school, he was accepted to an accelerated academic program at the University of the Pacific allowing him to complete college and dental school in just five years, as opposed to the usual eight.

After graduating at the top of his class in dental school, Dr. Young earned a coveted fellowship position at Harvard University in the Division of Endodontics, where he graduated as the valedictorian of his class. During his residency, Dr. Young worked with scientists at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in a cutting edge research project focusing on Nickel-Titanium fracture mechanics. Dr. Young has continued his connection with Harvard, returning to co-direct the Advanced Clinical Endodontics course.

In addition to his advanced training in endodontics and dental infections, Dr. Young has pursued advanced training in sedation and anesthesia.  He has maintained an IV Sedation permit since 2007, and been an on-site inspector for the Dental Board of California sedation permit program since 2010.

Outside of his dental work, Dr. Young serves at his local church as a co-director of music and worship.  He can also be found working at his small farm in South County.

Dr. Young is married to his high school sweetheart, Katie. They have two boys and two girls, and enjoy swimming, camping, and reading Bible stories together.
