Dr. George Hwang

Dr. George Hwang’s professional journey is marked by a distinguished career in the United States Air Force before joining Creekside Endodontics. Graduating with high honors from the University of California, Davis in 2006 with a degree in Chemical Engineering, he furthered his education at the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in 2011 in San Francisco and graduated near the top of his class.

Following an overseas military tour, Dr. Hwang pursued specialized training at the Air Force Endodontics residency program at Keesler Air Force Base, Mississippi. His expertise was subsequently showcased as the Chief Endodontist at the David Grant Medical Center, a premier US Air Force hospital. Concurrently, he held the esteemed position of Assistant Professor for the Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences.
 
Returning to the region where he initially pursued his education, Dr. Hwang is now dedicated to serving the community at Creekside Endodontics. His mission is to alleviate pain and restore oral health, reflecting his deep gratitude for the opportunity.
 
Known for his sincerity and gentleness, Dr. Hwang is a devoted family man, married with two energetic and sweet boys. In 2019, he achieved the prestigious distinction of becoming a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics, a testament to his commitment to excellence in his field. Actively engaged in professional development, Dr. Hwang is a proud member of leading organizations including the AAE (American Association of Endodontists), ADA (American Dental Association), and CDA (California Dental Association). His dedication to both his profession and community reflects a commitment to the highest standards of dental care.
